SUMMARY:

Prof Briggs will describe how the analysis of patient data has led to the development of a scoring system that is now used by every hospital and ambulance service in the country. He will also speak about the impact of being a patient on an understaffed ward, new ways of monitoring patients at risk of deterioration, how frequently a nurse should take your vital signs if you are a patient, and some interesting findings about how COVID affected patient care.

ATTENDING THE TALK

All talks are open to the public. Zoom waiting Room will open at 7.0pm. Talks start at 7:30pm. The SDG talks are restricted to 90 people.
